Steve Nash to the Lakers

Wow! The free agent pool for the NBA has been crazy so far. Steve Nash is now a Los Angeles Laker, but I'm not sure if this takes this team over the top. Steve Nash is a great player, and playing along side Kobe Bryant it seems tempting to pick them to win the championship next year. However I have my doubts because that is an old backcourt so I don't know if they can last a whole season together. Can the Lakers win the NBA championship next year?
