Ray Allen to South Beach

Ray Allen decides to go to the recent rivals of the Miami Heat, despite the fact he took less money to do so. I thought Boston had an edge, and I'm sure he loved his time with the Celtics. However, I think Doc lost Ray when he decided to start Avery Bradley over him late last season. I also think the relationship between Ray and Rondo worsened as time went along, thus helping Ray decide he would rather come off the bench for another team. It also helps that Miami just won the title and seems primed for a repeat.
I wonder if the addition of Ray Allen to the Heat's roster better their chances of a repeat?
