With Kobe Bryant leading the way, the Lakers look like they are the early favorite to claim the top spot for basketball supremacy. The newest addition of Dwight Howard easily puts them in championship contention, probably having a slight edge over the Thunder at this point in the west. Dwight compliments Gasol game much better than Bynum did, and Nash is definitely looking forward to winning his first ring in his great career. This is Kobe's best chance to win more rings than the great Michael Jordan, and you know Kobe loves challenges.
